One person was flown to a hospital to be treated for injuries after a single-vehicle crash Thursday evening in Spring Township.
A 39-year-old Bellefonte man was critically injured in the crash at about 6:15 p.m. on the 1100 block of Blanchard Street, according to Spring Township police. He was flown by STAT MedEvac helicopter to UPMC Williamsport.
Centre County dispatch reported that the man’s car overturned and he was entrapped.
Police did not release information about the cause of the crash, which remains under investigation.
Blanchard Street was closed for about two and a half hours for accident reconstruction.
Bellefonte and Mount Nittany Medical Center EMS and Logan, Undine and Pleasant Gap fire companies assisted at the scene.
